Estimates
Profiles, estimates and calculators are generated from public data and published tariffs and are indicative. They are not a statement of money owed and not legal, tax or financial advice.
What we store
- Forms: your email, and optionally your name, role, catalogue size and message, plus the profile you were looking at.
- Account: your email address, to sign you in with a one-time link, and the profiles you have unlocked.
- Payments: handled by Stripe; we receive the confirmation and the amount, never your card details.
- Calculators: stream counts, payments received, splits and shows you type stay in your browser; they are never sent to us.
Data is stored in the EU (Supabase, Paris region) and used only to provide the service and reply to you. No tracking or advertising cookies are used; the only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
Unclaimed-works lists
Some collecting societies publish lists of works, recordings and rightsholders they could not identify or reach, so that rightsholders can come forward. We load these official lists as published, keep only the fields needed to match a profile (titles, names, codes, the use period) and refresh them weekly. We do not keep addresses or cities. A match is shown only on the profile of the artist it may concern, as a prompt to check with the society.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time through the contact form on the “We retrieve it for you” page. If your name appears on a list we display and you want it hidden, tell us the same way.
Sources
Music data: MusicBrainz and ListenBrainz (MetaBrainz Foundation), Wikidata, Cover Art Archive. Unclaimed-works lists: the societies that publish them, linked on each entry. Live tariffs: each society's published tariff, linked in the calculator. We do not claim any affiliation with these projects or with any collecting society, and we never query a society's search on your behalf — we link you to it.
