When you play live, the promoter pays the local society a share of ticket sales. That money only reaches you if the society knows which songs you played. Here is how to tell each one — and how long you have.
Date, venue, city and the songs in order — including the ones you only played once.
To the society of the country of the show. Abroad, your home society can usually tell you how it reaches you.
Late setlists are often lost: the money goes to the songs that were reported.

Submit a Notification of Live Music Performance (NLMP) in your SOCAN account.
Tariff 4.A.1: 3% of gross ticket receipts excluding taxes.
Lodge a performance report in your APRA AMCOS member account.
2.2% of net box office including GST (OneMusic ticketed events).
Register the programme online ("Programm anmelden").
10% of gross takings including VAT, without dancing (AT-EV 2025).
Add the setlist in MySabam → MyPlaylist (the organiser has 15 days to send theirs).
Report the concert in Mit Koda.
Report your gigs online ("Ilmoita keikkasi").
Declare the programme in your member area (or the organiser does).
11% of ticket takings, 8.8% when declared in advance (2021–23 general tariff).
Upload the setlist in "My setlists" in the GEMA online portal.
Tarif U-K: 5.75% up to 2,000 visitors, 7.60% up to 15,000, 8.00% above (net of VAT and booking fees).
Submit your gigs in the IMRO member area.
The organiser files the programme (mioBorderò) — make sure it lists your songs, with you as writer.
10% of ticket income net of taxes (2026 tariff for pop, jazz and folk concerts).
The organiser reports the setlist (live houses through J-OPUS).
5% of (ticket price × capacity × 80%) — based on capacity, not tickets sold.
Report the setlist in MijnBumaStemra → Live.
Report your concerts for the half-yearly concert settlement.
Notify your concerts and their programme online ("Notifica tus conciertos").
8.5% of box office after VAT (2025 tariff book).
Report under Mina sidor → Livespelningar; only paid if the organiser had a STIM licence.
4% of the ticket price up to 675 kr, 3% above, excluding VAT.
Send the live programme form to SUISA.
GT K 2025–29: 8.5% for small concerts, 9.5% for major concerts, excluding VAT and ticket tax.
You report your setlist online ("Report live performances"); promoters of bigger concerts also return it.
Tariff LP: 4% of gross receipts (4.2% if booking fees are not declared).
